ChromeOrange Media's Formation

ChromeOrange Media was founded in 2020 by two entrepreneurs who were raised by entrepreneurs. After 30+ years of producing records and creating custom musical idents, jingles, sonic branding, and marketing assets for big companies, they looked back at their SMB roots and came to a startling realization: only a precious few companies in the SMB sector and small batch economy were leveraging the immense power of sound to communicate brand value and meaningful differentiation, amplify brand messaging, boost brand recall, and connect their brands with customer emotions.

 

The problem? Cost.

 

​The painful truth was that implementing an audio brand strategy was a financial impossibility for many SMB companies. Without hundreds of thousands—or even millions—of dollars to budget for sonic branding, SMBs were unable to afford the kind of sonic brand campaigns the "big guys" were able to implement. That left SMBs to wonder how much more competitive they could have become if they could find a sonic branding agency aligned with their SMB needs and budget. ​
